In Basel, top-level medicine has a tradition and entails that the humanist town is consistently a site of influential innovations. The exhibition traces this tradition due to the 150 years anniversary of the Basel Medical Society (MedGes). In a fascinating tour of 150 years history of medicine in Basel, it presents medical achievements and thereby doesn't only focus on the innovations themselves, but also on the discoverers and their living environments.
