Under Destruction

On the 50th "anniversary” of Tinguely's action with the self-destructing machine "Homage to New York” at the MoMA, the Museum Tinguely, in a group presentation with young artistic positions, opens the debate on today's aesthetic potential of destruction. If, 50 years back, the vision was of atomic war and the Apocalypse, today, it is mass consumption and overproduction that inspire humorous and profound works.
